Basit Bhaila
Accounting Manager
Basit Bhaila is an Accounting Manager for Asia Alternatives and is based in the Firm’s San Francisco office. Mr. Bhaila is primarily responsible for financial accounting and reporting of the investment funds at Asia Alternatives.
Prior to joining Asia Alternatives, Mr. Bhaila spent nine years at KPMG serving alternative investment clients. His tenure included conducting financial statement audits and performing financial due diligence on transactions. He spent the initial five years at KPMG in the United Arab Emirates and subsequently moved to their San Francisco office.
Mr. Bhaila holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in California and is a member of both the AICPA and CalCPA.
