William D. LaFayette
Managing Director
William D. LaFayette is a Managing Director of Asia Alternatives. Mr. LaFayette is responsible for the accounting and administration of Asia Alternatives Management LLC and provides consultation and advice on other aspects of the Asia Alternatives business and its funds.
Mr. LaFayette has over twenty-five years of private equity experience. Prior to joining Asia Alternatives, Mr. LaFayette founded a private equity and venture capital consulting firm in 2002 which provided financial and tax advice to private equity and venture capital firms.
Prior to establishing his own firm, Mr. LaFayette was a Senior Tax Manager in the private equity/venture capital group with Deloitte and Touche LLP in San Francisco, and was Director of Finance for H&F, a San Francisco-based private equity firm. While at H&F, Mr. LaFayette oversaw the financial and tax reporting functions. Mr. LaFayette began his career in 1994 with Arthur Andersen LLP where he was a Tax Manager in the private equity and venture capital group.
Mr. LaFayette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California and is a California Certified Public Accountant.
