Jingyi Song
Principal
Jingyi Song is a Principal based in Asia Alternatives’ Hong Kong office. Ms. Song is primarily responsible for supporting the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of private equity secondary investments across Asia. Ms. Song also plays a critical role as the primary coordinator across the Firm’s investment, legal, operations, compliance, and portfolio management teams to ensure that all secondary investments are executed efficiently and monitored diligently.
Prior to joining Asia Alternatives, Ms. Song was an Associate in the Asia Private Equity Investment team at LGT Capital Partners (Asia-Pacific) Ltd. where she was responsible for sourcing, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of private equity fund, direct, and secondary investments in Asia. Prior to that, Ms. Song was a Vice President in the Private Capital Advisory team at Greenhill & Co. (now part of Mizuho Financial Group) where she specialized in private equity secondary transaction advisory. Ms. Song began her career as a M&A Analyst at Houlihan Lokey in Hong Kong.
Ms. Song holds a Master of Laws in Corporate and Financial Law as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from The University of Hong Kong. During Ms. Song’s undergraduate study, she also spent one semester at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and remains a proud Falcon. Ms. Song is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese and is studying Spanish.
