Catherine Liu
Principal
Catherine Liu is a Principal based in Asia Alternatives’ Beijing office. Ms. Liu is primarily responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, deal execution and portfolio management of private equity fund investments and direct co-investments in China.
Prior to joining Asia Alternatives, Ms. Liu was an Associate, Equity Capital Markets, at Goldman Sachs and based in Beijing. Prior to that, she was an Equity Analyst at J.P. Morgan. Ms. Liu began her career at the Agricultural Bank of China.
Ms. Liu graduated from University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom with a Master’s degree in Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering. Ms. Liu is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.
