Thomas Racky is Managing Director of Asia Alternatives Europe GmbH, which was established in 2024 as part of the Asia Alternatives Group, a leading private equity fund-of-funds manager and service provider focused exclusively on Asia (primarily China, India, South Korea, Japan, and Australia) with offices in San Francisco, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai.
Thomas Racky is also a partner at Hosak Racky & Partner, PartG, which he joined in 2010. His consulting activities focus on strategic advice to entrepreneurial families and institutional clients, particularly in corporate transactions, as well advising on the establishment and ongoing support of single-family offices.
Prio to joining Hosak Racky & Partner, Thomas worked in investment banking, focusing on private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate finance, for Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Bank (1990 to 1997), Merrill Lynch (1998–2006), and Société Générale (2006–2010) in Frankfurt, London, and Paris.
